We are back and excited! It is great to see everyone's smiling faces. We hope that everyone has had a great Christmas holiday and is excited about the new year ahead of us. Our blog will now be found here for the remainder of the year to comply with new CBE regulations.
We were working on team building yesterday to begin the year and talked about how important it is to share our ideas in a healthy way. If we have ideas that are different than others that is okay and we can compromise, listen to others ideas and help each other work through their ideas to help them come true. In teams we shared ideas to best build a cup tower using only string and elastics, ask your child how it worked. They had a blast and worked together great!
We are busy working on building our area, perimeter and volume zoo's. Building with blocks and recyclable materials. We are being very creative and constructing our zoo enclosures to look as realistic as we can.
Soon our second stories will be done and put into a book format and then we will be able to share them with the class. We are using amazing descriptive words to help our reader see what is happening and feel like they are there rather than just being told what was happening.
